Ardmore House Hotel, St Albans

My stay at the hotel was a bit underwhelming. The room I had for £90 a night was tiny, advertised as a double, but I could barely fit in the toilet. The room looked out onto a flat roof, not the prettiest view. The hotel seems a bit dated, and not all rooms offer attractive views of the garden or park. On the plus side, the staff were diligent and provided good hosting services. The location was convenient, close to the city center and the train station, though a bit of a walk to some attractions. The dining experience was average, nothing special, although the service was excellent. Overall, not great value for money, maybe worth £50 a night at most.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms exceeded my expectations, being spotless and well presented, without any need for artificial air fresheners. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate me. The location was ideal for exploring the city, and the dining experience was delicious. Overall, a fantastic value for money.
